Everything Created by AI is Real

You don’t need to be a postmodern scholar to recognize nothing is new. AI is a digital assistant mirroring abstract concepts in an attempt to inexpertly follow directions. AI can do nothing, yet, outside of a reflection of what has been done before. Using AI can feel like sitting at a slot machine waiting for the numbers to align.

Of the two main players in the AI race, bots and agents, agents are the most likely to do something original. Bots are designed for narrow, specific tasks, while agents are highly adaptable, capable of pursuing long-term goals, and optimizing their strategies based on experience.

If you use the prompt “try again” enough times you may get something exactly similar to what you want.

However; if your create a team of agents, each with competing interests, this is where things begin to feel almost human.
To set up multiple agents with competing interests, start by defining the main goal. Then, give each its own sub-goal that might conflict with the others. For example, one agent might focus on maximizing profit, while another aims to improve user experience, and another tries to cut costs. Use the “Agent” framework to code these goals and set up communication channels between them. Implement a negotiation system so the agents can resolve conflicts and find compromises. This setup lets each push its agenda while still contributing to the core objective, leading to a balanced and dynamic problem-solving approach.

My most recent test, using Agent GPT, created a theater of agents arguing over business requirements (many with good suggestions). I allowed them to dialog for hours before ending the session. Watching the constant stream of conversation was fun.

I’d share the document, but it’s a proprietary idea that I doubt AI could have come up with on its own.

AI can do much of what you can do faster, but still remains limited by human imagination.

Sorry for stepping away from business, but humans need to rest.
