Day Three: Five Meetings Scheduled in the Next Two Days

When owning a two-person digital agency, do you shave and put on a suit or stick with the hoodie? Do you talk a lot or mostly listen? Any advice from folks who have lasted more than three days at this?

Although our costs are still minimal, I’ve been thinking about whether it is possible to scale a digital agency without outside funding. Even when most of your services are skill-based, there are certain things that require countless credit card swipes on the path to good service.

I can hire twenty good contractors in a week (I’ve done it before), but that was under a corporate financial shelter—not directly from my bank account. How do you mitigate the risks of late payments?

These are today’s questions.

And following are a few other accomplishments from today:

  • LLC Filing

  • State Filing

  • Operating Agreement

  • EIN Obtainment

  • Business Licenses & Permits

  • State Compliance Filings

Thanks for reading. :-)
