Day Two of Starting a Company and We (Still) Have Zero Customers

How does one gather customers? This is still to be determined in our case.

I could sing, Katie could dance: we could build a choreographed version of a sales kit.

Or I could explain what we’re offering:

The litenflame value proposition lies in our ability to communicate effectively and ensure the appropriate audience is impacted in the desired way. This is complex, as the results can manifest in countless directions.

Our potential customers could range from trade associations needing a coalition website, individuals running for elected office seeking full-scale campaign support, corporations aiming to increase conversions through careful ad placement and targeting, or any of these entities seeking to do something entirely new.

In the digital world, anything is possible. However, very few people possess the skillset to excel in both messaging and digital execution. There’s art, data, science, general familiarity with platforms, and instinct, all of which are necessary for success.

The best campaigns are monitored and optimized across hundreds of KPIs daily, ensuring investments are well spent.

I’m aware that if I cannot sell myself as an expert across this vast landscape of potential services, then I shouldn’t be embarking on this business.

But without taking risks, I would end up sitting at another desk, fulfilling someone else’s small vision of my potential. I may end up back at another of those desks, but being my own boss is a dream worth chasing.

So what’s next? Sell, sell, sell. I would be grateful for any and all references from my network. Please keep us in mind when you hear of a need for a marketing / communications firm.

We have numerous scalable products being prepared for launch. More details later.

Ultimately, there is a lot of value in hiring a small, nimble firm that is hungry.

Thanks for tuning in and please enjoy this bonus photo of our two least valued employees:
