What Does “litenflame” Mean?
This was a domain I purchased a couple years ago when Katie and I were considering starting a candle company. It’s difficult to find a .com where you can also snag the social accounts, but I acquired one of them and the flame remained limited by exigency.
That all changed a couple weeks back; I have a number of domains on reserve, but we chose this one.
To us, litenflame is a small flame that leaves it’s mark. It is small, but expanding, burning into the imaginations and intellects of each person influenced. It’s the beginning of something we hope to see grow.
A small flame, ignited.
Henceforth: litenflame means “to change; to change oneself and to change one’s audience.” We like the double meaning as it suggests both individuality and community.
Finally, litenflame is a business, a small fire with a large purpose: the purpose is change.
